A MAN has been charged with stealing alcohol worth more than a whopping £2,300 from Tesco in Cirencester.
Sadac Halil, 36, is charged with stealing alcohol valued at £1,350 from the store on March 22 last year and stealing £987 worth of alcohol from the same store on May 18.
The total cost of the stolen items is £2,337
Halil, of Pennine road, Oakley, Cheltenham, failed to attend a hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court last Thursday, February 1.
An arrest warrant was issued.
