AN ALERT has been issued after two garages in Quenington were broken into this week.
Two black electric Popal bikes with small wheels were stolen from an unlocked garage in The Green, Quenington (incident number 92) sometime between 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 7 and 8am on Thursday, February 8.
Meanwhile, tools were stolen from a garage in Victoria Road, Quenington (incident number 370) sometime between 5pm on Wednesday, February 7 and 4.30pm on Thursday, February 8.
Police officers believe an attempt was made to break in through the main garage doors, but entry was gained through the side door by breaking the lock.
Information about either of these incidents can be provided to the police by completing a form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident number 92 or 370 of February 8.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said: "Please remember to lock your garages.
"Lock bikes to an immovable object such as a ground or wall anchor.
"Please don't hesitate to call the police if you witness suspicious activity and dial 999 if you believe a crime is taking place."
