A COMEDIAN is due to make an impression at a glamorous black tie event near Cirencester in May.
Former Mock The Week panellist Rory Bremner has been announced as the host of this year's Cotswold Water Park Ball.
The Scottish impressionist is best known for writing and starring in the political satire show Bremner, Bird and Fortune.
The glittering affair will take place at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park Hotel in South Cerney on Saturday, May 11.
More than 250 guests will be able to dance the night away to the Curious Little Big Band and win a selection of great prizes at the charity auction and raffle.
The annual event will raise funds for Cotswold Lakes Trust, a charity dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of the Cotswold Water Park for the benefit of wildlife and people.
Paul Hazel, executive chairman of Cotswold Lakes Trust, said: "We are delighted to be holding our biggest fundraising event of the year, the ball, in May.
"All the money raised from the evening will go towards our charitable activities in the Cotswold Water Park."
Tickets for the event are £85 each or £800 for a table of 10.
