POLICE officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault.
A 26-year-old man sustained a fractured jaw during an attack which happened on the junction of Regent Street and Ormond Place in Cheltenham just before 1am on Saturday, December 2.
It was reported that the victim had been talking to his friend when two men came up behind them and one of them punched him in the face.
After the incident the victim needed multiple surgeries to fix his fractured jaw.
Investigating officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the assault but are yet to identify the man pictured and are now asking for information from the public.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured or may have witnessed what happened has been asked to contact police by completing an online form on Gloucestershire Constabulary's website quoting incident 17 of December 2.
