A STUNNING two-storey homeware shop opened in Cirencester last week.
The Sue Parkinson team invited friends, family and loyal shoppers to enjoy a glass of fizz with them at the launch party of their brand-new home and lifestyle shop - which is located at Unit 16, Elliott Road, Love Lane Industrial Estate - on Thursday, December 7.
Guests got the chance to have a first look around the stylish store which offers a bounty of luxury interior items including crockery, Christmas decorations, sofas and bar stools.
The family-run business, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, was founded by Sue Parkinson who took over her mother-in-law's Broadway shop in 1973.
The brand has had a fashion shop inside the Corn Hall in Cirencester for a number of years but Sue, alongside her children Sally and Bob, decided it was time to open a second bigger store so that they could offer their customers a larger range of homeware products.
The spaciousness of the Love Lane Industrial Estate also offers shoppers buying large pieces of furniture lots of space to park.
Sally Parkinson said: "There was a great atmosphere at the launch event.
"So many of our customers and other local independent businesses from Cirencester and further afield came to celebrate with us, including some local influencers, some of whom had featured in our previous fashion campaigns.
"There was fizz and mince pies, and we were so happy to receive such great feedback from everyone about the space, who described the store as 'absolutely stunning', 'exactly what Cirencester needs' and 'an interiors paradise'.
"Business has been really good since we opened and we're so pleased with the response as customers visit - going forward, the main thing we want to do is make people aware that we're here, as our location is slightly out of town.
"If you haven't been to our home store yet (our second location in Cirencester, after our fashion boutique in town), you must visit!
"We've got so much planned for next year for the store, so watch this space!"
