POLICE officers have urged residents to remain vigilant over the Christmas holiday period after a series of burglaries took place near Malmesbury.
Several properties in Church Street, Sherston were broken into on Friday night, December 1.
A spokesperson for Malmesbury said: "We have had a series of burglaries reported in the Church Street area of Sherston overnight on December 1.
"Please can we remind residents to remain vigilant over the Christmas period and to ensure all doors, windows and garages are secure."
