A PUB which was recently bought by a villager who aimed to restore it to its 'former glory' has received a new food hygiene grade.
The Crown Inn, at Cerney Wick, near Cirencester, was given a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating after an inspection on Wednesday, October 18.
Ratings are scored between 0 and 5, with five being the highest.
The pub was purchased by a local villager who said their intention is to restore the pub to its former glory.
