POLICE have urged residents to remain vigilant after receiving reports of suspicious behaviour in Calcot yesterday.
A man came into a workshop in Calcot and told the occupant he had a ran a cat over and was looking for the owner on Monday, November 13.
However, the occupant couldn't see the cat and thought the man was highly suspicious.
The male has been described as stocky, 5ft4" in height, had an Irish accent and was driving a white Transit van.
Police officers would like to talk to anyone who has seen this man or who has experienced similar suspicious behaviour in the area recently.
Information can been given to the police by completing a form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident 184 of November 13.
Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers online or by calling 0800 555 111.
The information comes from a community alert - police are unable to accept reports of crime through Neighbourhood Alerts.
