A DINER at a football club has been handed a new hygiene rating.
Spikes Diner at Fairford Football Club, Cinder Lane in Fairford received a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on Tuesday, October 17.
This means out of the 280 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings in the Cotswolds, 253 (90%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
