SEVERAL roads in Malmesbury will be closed to all traffic next weekend to make way for the remembrance parade.
Serving members of 9th Supply Regiment RLC, from The Royal Logistic Corps, will be marching from the Town Hall to Malmesbury Abbey in their pristine uniforms on Sunday, November 12.
Wiltshire Council has announced that the following roads will be closed to all traffic between 1.30pm and 2pm on that day:
- B4040 High Street from its junction with B4040 St Dennis Lane to its junction with B4040 Oxford Street.
- B4040 St Dennis Lane from its junction with B4040 High Street to its junction with B4040 Cross Hayes Lane.
- B4040 Cross Hayes Lane from its junction with B4040 St Dennis Lane to its junction with B4040 Oxford Street.
After the parade a Remembrance Sunday Service will take place in Malmesbury Abbey between 2pm and 3.30pm.
