TWO cafés, one restaurant and one pub in the Cirencester area have been handed new hygiene ratings.
The café at Cirencester Leisure Centre in Tetbury Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire received a top score on Tuesday, October 3.
Madeleine's café in Dyer Street, Cirencester was handed a five-out-of-five rating after an assessment on Thursday, October 12.
On the same day Toro Lounge in Cricklade Street, Cirencester was also given a five-out-of-five rating.
The Drillmans Arms pub in Gloucester Road, Stratton was also received top marks after an assessment on Friday, October 13.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
