A MAN from Cirencester has been charged with raping and sexually assaulting a female.
Brendan Ellis, aged 39, of Stroud Road, Cirencester is alleged to have sexually assaulted a female on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
Ellis is also accused of raping the same person on two separate occasions - first on Monday, January 21, 2019 and also on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
The case was heard at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, October 16.
Ellis pleaded not guilty to the offences and has been released on conditional bail until the next hearing which is due to take place on Friday, December 8.
He must not contact the alleged victim and must regularly report to Cirencester Police Station until the case is dealt with.
