A BAND in Malmesbury has announced the date of its highly-anticipated annual concert.

Malmesbury Concert Band will be treating shoppers in the town centre to a live performance at the Market Cross in Malmesbury on Saturday, October 28 to promote its upcoming concert. 

The theme for this year's concert is musicals and attendees can expect popular numbers from My Fair Lady, Miss Saigon, and the King & I as well as Dolly Parton's iconic 9 to 5 tune.

This annual event will take place in the Wesleyan Room at the Town Hall on Saturday, November 18.

Director of music Art Robb said: “Following our triumphant sell-out James Bond concert last year, we know that many who came then won’t want to miss out this November. 

"We have deliberately included lots of popular numbers so that everyone can join in.”

Adult tickets cost £12 and are £6 for students.
