A MAN from Cirencester who has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon and stealing jewellery worth £3,000 is due in court tomorrow.
Barry Evans, aged 23, of Watermoor Road, Cirencester, is alleged to have entered the Corn Hall in Cirencester as a trespasser and to have stolen handmade jewellery to the value of £3,000 on Sunday, January 29.
Evans has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon - a flip knife - in Cirencester on the same day.
In addition, Evans is alleged to have possessed a flick knife in Cirencester on Sunday, February 12.
The case is due to be heard at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Friday, October 6.
