A POPULAR restaurant with picturesque lake views near Cirencester has received a new food hygiene grade.
The Lakeside Brasserie at The Watermark in South Cerney was given a score of four out of five on Wednesday, August 9.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.
