THERE are two upcoming road closures in our area which starts this week.
Gloucestershire Highways has announced that resurfacing works on Ewen Wharf - the road which links Tetbury Road to Ewen - starts tomorrow.
A two-day road closure will be in place between the hours of 7am and 7pm on Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21.
A diversion route will be in place during this time frame which will redirect traffic through Kemble.

In addition, a four-night road closure in Tetbury also starts this week.
Cirencester Road in Tetbury will be closed between 7pm and 7am between Thursday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 26.
A diversion route along the A433 and Long Street has been proposed but Gloucestershire Highways has recognised that there may be other, shorter, alternative routes available.
This approved diversion has been chosen as the most suitable route for vehicles which need to keep to the same or a similar class of road.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Highways said: "We appreciate road closures are inconvenient, but to keep you and the team working on the road safe it is necessary.
"We have planned the work so we can be in and out as quickly as possible and have tried to do it at a time that will minimise any inconvenience.
"We have created an official diversion route which will be signposted and is suitable for all vehicles that would normally use the closed road.
"We appreciate you may know an alternative route, however, please be aware alternative routes which are outside of the road closure area are used at drivers’ discretion."
