A 25-YEAR-OLD man from Cirencester has been banned for a year after admitting drink-driving.
Joshua Wright, of Century Close, Cirencester, pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Truro Magistrates' Court yesterday (September 5).
Wright was caught driving a Renault Clio in Kerley Paddock Road, Chacewater in Truro having consumed 49 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
He has been fined £403, must pay a £161 victim surcharge plus £85 costs - a total of £649.
Wright was also banned from driving for a year.
This could be reduced by three months if he completes a drink-driving course by April 4, 2024.
