A DRIVER has been detained after being involved in a crash near Royal Wootton Bassett.
Officers from Malmesbury Police were called to a two-vehicle crash on Callow Hill Crossroad, Brinkworth at around 10.15pm last night (September 5).
Two vehicles had collided with each other before smashing through the fence of a nearby property.
This incident caused damage to both vehicles and the property.
After conducting roadside alcohol tests, one driver was found to be over the legal limit, which is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
This driver was then taken to Swindon Police Station Gablecross for further investigation.
