A 29-YEAR-OLD who pleaded guilty to stealing whiskey from a popular food hall in Cirencester is due to be sentenced today.
Ben Savory stole three bottles of whiskey - worth a total of £186 - from the Corn Hall Deli in Cirencester on Tuesday, May 23.
The defendant, of Savory Way, Cirencester, was also charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order.
The order had been issued by the Cirencester Magistrate Court on August 11 last year and prohibited Savory from entering the Corn Hall Deli.
Despite this, he entered the premises on May 23 without a reasonable excuse.
Savory pleaded guilty to the charges during a hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 8 but the case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
The defendant is due to be sentenced at the same court today, Tuesday, August 29.
