A SEX offender must pay more than £1,000 for failing to attend an annual police notification procedure.
Jeremy Raikes, aged 55, of Duntisbourne Leer, Cirencester, who is subject to the terms of the Sex Offenders Register, failed to attend a scheduled police station visit to complete his annual notification on Wednesday, May 24.
Raikes pleaded guilty to the offence at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 8.
He was fined £800, must pay a £320 victim surcharge plus £85 costs - a total of £1,205 which must paid by Tuesday, September 5.
