OFFICERS have appealed for information after a group of men broke into a shop in Northleach this morning.
Police received a call at around 1am this morning (Monday, August 14) by someone who had spotted four men breaking into a shop in the Market Place in Northleach.
It is believed that the group of men travelled to and from the scene in a dark-coloured Audi.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of the vehicle involved.
After entry was gained to the premises, an unsuccessful attempt was made to access the ATM.
Tobacco was stolen before the group fled the scene a few minutes later in the Audi at speed in the direction of West End.
Police attended however the suspects were not located and no arrests have been made at this stage.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw what took place, the vehicle involved, or who has any other information which could assist the ongoing investigation.
Information can be provided to the police by completing an online form on the Gloucestershire Police website quoting incident 13 of August 14.
