THIS Country star Daisy May Cooper and her family attended an annual village event this weekend.
Daisy was 'over the moon' to win second place for her rhubarb and apple chutney at South Cerney Show yesterday, Saturday, August 5.
The two-day event has been organised by the South Cerney Flower Show Committee.
It takes place this weekend in the South Cerney Village Hall and continues today between 11.30am and 4pm.
This year marks the event's 106th anniversary.
The village hall is brimming with beautiful flower arrangements, home-grown produce, baking and crafts.
Organiser Eleanor Moriarty Wroath said: "It is always a brilliant and historic village event and this year is no exception.
"Another year of countless high standard entries of home grown produce, flowers, photography, baking, handicrafts , gardens on a plate - the list goes on and on.
"It was fabulous to have local girl, Daisy May Cooper supporting the South Cerney Show with her family today - she was absolutely over the moon to have won second prize for her rhubarb and apple chutney!
"There are so many glorious exhibits to see and some really delicious cake."
