Strong winds and thunder could put displays at risk as thousands flock to day two of the Royal International Air Show.
RAF Fairford is set to host the second day of this year’s iconic annual air event on Saturday, July 15.
But as 60,000 people make their way to the airfield, they are likely to be met by strong winds and showers this afternoon.
Organisers have assured ticket holders Saturday’s event will be going ahead as planned, but also warned them to come prepared for cold and wet conditions.
A spokesperson said: “Colleagues within our Air Operations team are in constant communication with the Met Office, who are also on site at RAF Fairford.
“We can confirm that having reviewed all relevant information, Saturday's RIAT will take place as planned.”
Despite the wind and rain, temperatures are forecast to remain between 16 and 18 degrees.
