AN UPDATE can be provided after a man was charged with trespassing at Kemble Airfield and allegedly going onboard a Boeing 747.
A man from Bristol, who is aged in his 30s, was charged with entering the security restricted area of Kemble Airfield without the permission of the manager on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
He was also charged with boarding a Boeing 747 without the permission of the operator of the aircraft on the same day - contrary to Aviation Security Act 1982.
The case was heard at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday, June 29.
According to the court list, the charges were dropped because the case took too long to come to court and the man faces no action.
