PLANT lovers have been invited to explore more than 20 gardens at an annual event next weekend.
Cricklade Open Gardens will be taking place on Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2 between 1pm and 5pm.
Visitors will be able to walk through 22 beautiful gardens - ranging from small courtyards to large gardens - in the town over the weekend.
This annual event raises money for local charitable organisations and the proceeds from this year's event will be divided between Cricklade Open Door – a charity that offers company, food, and friendship for the over 65’s in Cricklade - and St. Sampson’s Church restoration project.
There will be plants for sale in some of gardens and two will be providing refreshments such as tea, coffee, and delicious home-made cakes.
Visitors will be charged £5 each for access to all the gardens.
A list of all open gardens is available from the Cricklade Town Council Office in advance or will be available from any of the gardens on the day.
