VISITORS have flocked to a National Trust property in Gloucestershire to see colourful flower displays.
Staff at Snowshill Manor, near Broadway, say that the Arts and Crafts style garden is at its best in June and July.
The flowers are in full bloom this month and are cared for by a dedicated team of National Trust gardeners.
During the summer months visitors can enjoy colourful displays of flowers, panoramic views of the Vale of Evesham and a wildflower meadow.
Throughout June and July irises, roses, lupins, and salvias blossom in the gardens.
The wildflower meadow is also a haven for insects and the warmer weather brings ox-eye daisies, red campions, knapweed, and musk mallow.
The gardens in Snowshill Manor were designed by Charles Wade and Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott, a prominent Arts and Crafts architect.
Wade wanted to design a garden which reflected both the theatre and form of the manor.
