A FARM shop in South Cerney has had a makeover and received its first hygiene rating under new management this month.
Exciting developments have taken place at The Wild Olive Café and Farm Shop (formerly Butts Farm Shop) since it reopened in April.
Butts Farms Shop used to have a butcher section which has been taken out to allow more seating in the café area.
The space has been given a fresh lick of paint, a new menu and extra outdoor seating has been added.
In addition, the new café recently received a five-star hygiene rating after an assessment on Tuesday, June 6.
The most popular item on the new menu is the full English Breakfast which is made using locally sourced bacon, sausages and eggs.
A spokesperson for The Wild Olive Café and Farm Shop said: "We were very excited to hear that the café received a five star hygiene rating.
"The best part about working at a farm shop the ability to offer local products, serve good food, chat with customers and hopefully making people smile too.
"We’re always looking for new products for the shop and new items to put on the menu.
"Some local artists have decorated our walls so we now have some fabulous paintings, gift cards and photography available for customers to buy.
"One of our main goals is to collaborate with as many local suppliers and small businesses as possible.
"We have lots of plans over the summer so follow our socials and to keep up date with exciting new developments."
The farm shop is open between 9am – 5.30pm from Tuesday to Sunday and the café serves hot food between 9am - 2pm.
It is closed on Mondays and but is open between 9am - 3pm on Sundays.
