A TEENAGER from Malmesbury has been charged with using a motor vehicle without a licence.
The 15-year-old is alleged to have ridden an e-scooter in Bristol Street, Malmesbury on Monday, November 28 last year.
The defendant, who cannot be named due to his age, was also charged with using a motor vehicle in a public place without insurance.
He has been charged under the Road Traffic Act 1988 and the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
The case was heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 23.
To rent one of the Voi scooters riders must be 18 years or older and must have at least a provisional driver's licence.
