Hotel and entertainment venue Ingleside House in Cirencester have announced they are to host a night of celebrating the work of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber followed by one of the most interesting and unique bands to come out of Ireland – The Four Harps.
Stuart Matthew Price and his wife Heather Lundstedt Price will perform songs by the most successful writer of the musical theatre genre on Thursday 25 May. Music from Evita, Cats, and of course, Phantom of the Opera are on the agenda.
Heather Lundstedt Price and Stuart Matthew Price are critically acclaimed vocalists and performers, having travelled extensively singing for audiences across the globe. UK and European audiences may know Stuart from shows such as Shrek The Musical or as a lead soloist at the BBC Proms alongside the John Wilson Orchestra. Hailing from the US, Heather has had the privilege of headlining with various symphonies throughout the country singing hits from Opera and Musical Theatre.
The shows will take place in the grounds of Ingleside, in the pavilion space behind Téatro’s Firepit garden dining area. Ticket prices are from £45-£60 which includes a three-course dinner prepared by onsite restaurant - Teatro.
The Four Harps will take to the stage the evening after Stuart and Heather’s show, Friday 26 May. The incredible harmony group are inspired by traditional Irish music that has been mixed and merged with more modern music from Irish artists such as U2, Van Morrison and Snow Patrol. The programme contains work by Sam Smith, Olivia Rodrigo and The Greatest Showman, all given a Four Harps twist.
Stuart said: “Be prepared to be charmed by The Four Harps, it really is a privilege to bring them to Cirencester.
“Heather and I, like most, love Lord Webber’s work so it will be an honour to perform some of his greatest work for you.”
