A MUSEUM in Tetbury celebrated the coronation with a special exhibit showcasing the town's history with the new King.
Tetbury is known for its architecture and its quaint antique shops but is arguably most famous for being next to Highgrove Estate, the family residence of the newly appointed King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Volunteers at the Tetbury Police Museum handed out tea and cake to visitors who took part in a range of coronation activities.
There was a special display board and exhibition titled King Charles and Tetbury and a free coronation activity sheet.
This exhibit will be open to visitors over the summer until August.
Maria Marsh, curator at Tetbury Police Museum, said: "The History of Tetbury Society's archive has provided a fascinating display about King Charles's relationship with Tetbury over the years.
"We very much hope people will come in and see the old photographs and reminisce with us about what they remember of the past 40 years."
