SCHOOL children in Cirencester made an impressive life-size union flag to celebrate King Charles III's coronation.
Pupils at Chesterton Primary School and Nursery dressed in red, white and blue and positioned themselves on the playground into the stripes of the union flag on Friday, May 5.
This was followed by a coronation picnic and a special assembly led by headteacher Mrs Libby Pringle.
The Friends of Chesterton Primary School decorated the school hall with bunting and flags to mark the historic occasion.
Pupils also enjoyed making an array of creative regal crowns and shields in craft competition.
