A MAN from South Cerney pleaded guilty to stealing gardening equipment from a popular homeware store.
Danny-Joe Smith, aged 36, of Four Acres Caravan Park, South Cerney admitted stealing a long handled lopper worth £85 from B&Q in Cheltenham on Thursday, February 16.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 13.
He was charged under the Theft Act 1968.
Smith was fined £80, must pay £85 in compensation with a £32 victim services surcharge plus £85 costs - a total of £282 which must be paid by Thursday, May 11.
