A POPULAR theatre in Cirencester announced that a Waterloo Road actress and Netflix star will be starring in an upcoming comedy.
The Barn Theatre in Cirencester revealed a star-studded cast and creative team for the staging of Noël Coward's Private Lives today, which will run from Monday, May 15 until Saturday, June 24.
The new production, directed by Bryan Hodgson, follows a divorced couple who, while honeymooning with their new spouses, discover they are staying in adjacent rooms at the same hotel with a shared terrace.
Lucy Dixon, best known for playing the role of Danielle Harker in the BBC series Waterloo Road, will play the role of Amanda and Poppy Gilbert, best known for playing Barbie in the Netflix series Stay Close, will make her stage debut in the role of Sibyl.
They will be joined by David Alwyn as Victor, Emily Attridge-Cox as Louise and Ricky Oakley as Elyot.
Joining Hodgson on the creative team are Alfie Heywood as set and costume Designer, Alex Musgrave as lighting designer and Sam Glossop, from Around the World in Eighty Days, as sound designer.
