A FAMOUS Indian author and feminist is to appear in Cirencester.
Vandana Shiva - an ecofeminist based in Delhi - is to give a talk at the Organic Farm Shop just outside the town.
Shiva, who has over 100,000 followers on Twitter, will be joined by her friend Satish Kumar, a former monk.
Profits from the tickets will go to Navdanya, an Indian-based non-governmental organisation which promotes biodiversity and organic farming.

The event will take place on Friday, January 6 from 7.15pm to 9.45pm.
