Major route closed after three vehicles crash (Image: NHS)
ROAD closures are in place following a serious three-vehicle collision near the A417 Air Balloon roundabout.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the collision near to the Birdlip roundabout in which happened shortly at around 4.30pm today (Monday November 21).
Closures are in place between the Air Balloon roundabout, on the A417 towards Cirencester and Cowley roundabout.
Traffic travelling up the hill towards the Air Balloon roundabout can come round the roundabout and back down towards Gloucester, but they cannot exit the roundabout towards Cirencester.
Police remain at the scene.
