The Haydon Wick branch of Toby Carvery in Swindon is set to reopen on Thursday, November 10, following a three-week makeover.
The restaurant has been closed since Monday, October 17, for renovations but will open its doors again to customers this week.
The carvery famously serves hand-carved meats including beef, turkey, pork and marmalade-glazed gammon, as well as roast potatoes, a wide range of veg, and Yorkshire puddings.
There is also a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes to ensure all customer’s dietary requirements are catered for.
It is not expected that the menu will change whatsoever following the makeover, but the interior will look different at The Friary.
A spokesperson for Toby Carvery said: “We’re excited to reopen the doors to the Home of the Roast on Thursday 12th November, and welcome back new and returning guests!"
“We’ve invested in creating a lovely warm and welcoming setting, with the cosy atmosphere we all associate with a delicious, heart-warming carvery and hope our guests love it as much as we do.”
The eatery will reopen from 11am on Thursday 12th November and opening hours thereafter return to normal from 8am-10pm.
Swindon residents have had to use the Toby Carvery Brockworth in Gloucester during the closure, as this is the nearest restaurant to the area.
The chain, owned by Mitchells & Butlers, also announced last week their Christmas Day menu as well as a separate, cheaper edition for Boxing Day.
For the sum of £57.99, customers can get themselves a three course meal on Christmas Day, featuring classic Christmas centrepieces such as roast turkey and Christmas pudding.
Alternatively, the Boxing Day menu, which is the same as the Christmas Day edition, is priced at the lesser fee of £23.99 per person.
Those wishing in Swindon wishing to dine at their local Toby Carvery at Christmas will be relieved to see The Friary reopen this week.
