It has been two years since Landlord Jordan Pelly, took charge of Gloucestershire’s Bathurst Arms and the pub boss celebrated with a lavish party for locals and guests.
Noah and The Whale founder, Matt Owens provided music while renowned magician, Alex Robertson, kept guests entertained with his table magic.
Jordan, 29, took the place through two lockdowns, won an award for his takeaway, was awarded two AA Rosettes for and is the only pub in the country to hold five prestigious stars for Organic Served Here by the Soil Association Certification.
It was the first and the only pub to receive the full five stars rating in the UK.
Jordan previously worked under super-chef Tom Kerridge as well as various other award-winning hospitality venues before taking over the reigns at the famous pink pub.
“Gloucestershire has been very kind to us,” he said.
“It has been a bizarre two years due to the pandemic but I think we are now finding our feet.
"I want to say a big thank you to the North Cerney villagers for supporting us since our beginning and also those from the surrounding villages, plus Cheltenham and Cirencester.
"News of our awards have meant a good following, so it is always advisable to book.”
