Cineworld has said that Wiltshire Unlimited cardholders shouldn't cancel their direct debits just yet.
The major cinema chain which owns two cinemas in Swindon - Shaw Ridge and Regent's Circus - announced last week that it intended to file for bankruptcy over continued struggles with £5b worth of debt.
But the company has reassured filmgoers that it is still open for business and there would be no significant impact on jobs.
All of our Cineworld cinemas are open for business as usual, and we continue to welcome Cineworld Unlimited members and all of our customers, across the UK and Ireland.

We remain committed to being the Best Place to Watch a Movie.
In an official statement, the chain said: “Cineworld and Regal theatres globally are open for business as usual and continue to welcome guests and members."
“Cineworld would expect to maintain its operations in the ordinary course until and following any filing and ultimately to continue its business over the longer term with no significant impact upon its employees.”
The statement also confirmed that the company was looking into several 'strategic options' for restructuring, one of which was filing for bankruptcy.
