A COTSWOLD village flower and produce show renowned for its tradition and charm is returning next month.
The South Cerney flower and produce show had previously been cancelled for two years due to Covid, but is returning for its 105th year.
The village hall will host a variety of competitions ranging from home-grown vegetables, fruits and flowers, freshly-baked goods, handicrafts, photography and children's events.
There are even traditional home gardening competitions for the longest runner bean and the best unusually shaped vegetable.
Eleanor Wroath from the show committee, said: “The show is unbelievably in its 105th year and has seen many changes as you might imagine over the years.
“We are back this year with renewed energy after the disappointment of having to cancel the 2020 and 2021 shows because of the pandemic.”
Previously, residents submitted their entries for the annual show via photos online rather than in person.
The show is being held on Sunday and Saturday August 6 and 7 at South Cerney Village Hall. Adult admission is £1 and you can find out more at www.southcerneyhalls.org.uk
