A butchers and farm shop based in Cirencester will feature in Sunday's episode of Countryfile.
Jesse Smith’s directors and twin brothers David and John Hawes were filmed as part of the BBC show's lambing special.
Filming started at their Love Lane farm shop before moving to the family kitchen where they demonstrated how to cook cuts of meat that are typically overlooked.
Jesse Smith has been in Cirencester since 1808. Three generations of the Hawes family have run the butchers since 1970 and they have shops in Love Lane and Black Jack Street, as well as in Tetbury. There are also shops in Burford and Northleach under the name W J Castle that are part of the group owned by The Hawes family.
All sell meat, their own handmade pies and sausage rolls, as well as local cheeses and other produce. There is also a wholesale side to the business, providing products to local pubs, restaurants and cafés.
The business currently employs more than 50 people and a new food hall is being opened in Elkstone this summer.
