A CIRENCESTER business is to shut in Stroud after 17 years.
The managing director of a jewellery and crafts shop in Stroud has sent an emotional response to the imminent closure of their shop.
Pashon - in Russell Street, Stroud - will close at the end of the month.
"I created Pashon 17 years ago because I saw an opportunity to achieve something really special in Stroud," said Randa Qubti, the shop's managing director.
"I brought a unique selection of beautiful jewellery and handicrafts adding later a high quality clothing range.
"It’s a decision I have never regretted for a second.
"In that time, Stroud came to be my second home with kind and welcoming people, some of whom are now lifelong friends.
"It has been such a pleasure to meet people from all walks of life to know that people have been so kind and supportive.
"It is with extreme sadness that Habeeb and I have to close our much loved business because we need to spend more time with our family in the Uk and abroad.
"However the good news I still have a thriving business in Pashon Cirencester and will always look forward to serve all of you at Unit 9 the Old Post Office, 12 Castle Street, Cirencester."
The last trading day for Pashon Stroud will be Saturday, March 26.
