DISTRICT councillors are set to approve £35,000 of funding for flood defences across the Cotswolds tomorrow.
CDC pledged the money for Land Drainage and Flood Defence in 2005 and is expect to rubber-stamp the money at the Cabinet meeting.
The money will go towards preparing a report on the various flooding incidents across the district in July last year. This report is due for completion in February.
The report to councillors says: "The funding is used to address land drainage and flooding problems across the district that are known to exist, or any that arise, as a result of adverse weather conditions which, this year, have proved exceptional.
"It is not considered appropriate at this time to prepare and submit a separate schedule of works for approval.
"However, due to slippage on last year's schedule, schemes are known to exist and it is these relatively small quick win' schemes that the capital budget monies would be used for."
