YOU probably take reading your Wilts & Glos Standard for granted every week.
But, for some residents, this just isn’t possible, and they rely on receiving their news through the post in the form of a CD.
This is the work of Corinium Talking News (CTN) - a free service providing weekly news and monthly magazines on CD to the visually impaired or housebound in the Cirencester area.
The organisation has provided this service for nearly 34 years and it’s been a lifeline for many of its recipients.
However, the group is at risk of becoming homeless and will not be able to use their recording studio from the end of February.
They are now looking for a new home in Cirencester. If anyone can help them find an office or room about120 square feet, contact CTN on 01285 898594 or email: mail@coriniumtalkingnews.org.uk
If you or someone you know is blind, visually impaired or housebound who would like to receive our CDs get in touch on the number or email address above.
