A man who stole from two Cotswold petrol stations on the same day has appeared in court.
Jonathan Ward made off with diesel from Bourton Vale Garage, Bourton-on-the-Water and Harebushes Service Station in Cirencester on July 6 last year.
Ward, of Slapton Road, Leighton Buzzard, was given a 12-month conditional discharge when he appeared in court on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was forced to pay compensation of £233.35 for the Bourton Vale Garage offence and £107.35 for the incident at Harebushes Service Station.
