JACKIE Weaver, one of the internet's biggest viral sensations in 2021, is working with Cotswold District Council to raise awareness about what local councils do.
The clerk, from Handforth, will appear on the council's livestream next week.
Jackie became an overnight sensation earlier this year after millions of people were impressed by her calm handling of aggressive councillors on a video call.
One of them, the then chair Brian Tolver, told her: “You have no authority here, Jackie Weaver".
In response, Jackie booted him, and two more councillors, off the call.
Since then her tagline has become "Jackie Weaver has the authority".
And she has become so popular that she was invited to open this year's Brit Awards, Andrew Lloyd Webber composed a song about her, and Joanna Lumley played her in a comedy sketch.
So it is quite a coup for Cotswold District Council that Jackie will be taking part in its next livestream meeting this coming Tuesday (May 25).
The meeting is part of the CDC Live series, a monthly online show, hosted at the Barn Theatre.

At the upcoming meeting, Jackie will be joining a special Q&A, looking at how residents can get involved with their local councils.
Jackie will be joining Cotswold District Council leader Joe Harris, chief executive Robert Weaver (no relation) and a broader panel.
Residents will be able to put their questions directly to Jackie and the panel.
Cllr Joe Harris, Leader of Cotswold District Council, said: “It is fantastic we have Jackie Weaver joining us on 25 May to talk about engaging with local decision making and activities to affect real change in our communities.
“I would really encourage people to join us live either on Facebook or Youtube to take part in the discussion about what we can all do to make a difference to our local area. So please get your questions in and ask us anything.”
Councillors and guests will be discussing how residents can affect local decision making by getting involved with their local district, town and parish councils and other local initiatives.
The panel will also be talking about how councils can work together with local communities to help look after the environment and keep the Cotswolds clean and green.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to submit their questions via communications@cotswold.gov.uk and council members will answer them live on the show.
Jackie not being paid for her work with the council – her involvement is entirely voluntary.
