POPULAR bike specialists Wild Carrot have opened a new bicycle hire at Cotswold Water Park.
The new store, which opened on April 1, will allow customers to rent a bike for as little as one hour or the whole day.
Since it was set up in 2018, the company offered biking activities and they believe that exercise in the outdoors is more important than ever.
Jago Hartland, head guide and supervisor of wheels said: "Lockdown has proven to be a difficult time for individuals to keep physically and mentally healthy.
Cycling has proven to become more popular as a form of exercise and a way of transport in 2020 and we would like to promote healthier lifestyle choices and continue to offer quality experiences.
"We hope our cycle hire available at the Cotswold water park can bring a new experience to the local area alongside offering cycling to all of the visitors planning to adventure in the Cotswolds.
"We believe in bringing sustainability and tourism together which is reflected in our rewilding goals and electric vehicles.
"We are proud to offer our customers an experience of which doesn't need to create a large carbon footprint, but creates memories that last.
"We are excited to begin this new adventure."
