Cotswold Wildlife Park celebrated its 50th anniversary after it reopened earlier this month.
The park’s landmark birthday was on March 27, but due to the lockdown staff could not celebrate until its recent reopening.
George, an 85-year-old Aldabra giant tortoise, also celebrated the occasion by being served a 50th Anniversary cake by Roxy Newton, Keeper at the wildlife park.
George is the oldest resident of the park and has been there since the day the park opened, and he enjoyed a special cake made from leaf eater pellets, carrot and swede.
