WELL done and thank you to Tetbury’s own Ben Scrivens, who has been making and supplying full face shields and mask ear guards within our local community to those who need vital PPE along with Amy Underill and his boys Leo and Zac from Crudwell school.
They have been working tirelessly to produce as many as they can, they have been making and supplying full face shields and mask ear guards within our local community to those who need vital PPE.
They are using 3D printing to produce the main head band part with acetate sheet for the visor.
They have made over 120 to date and have distributed them completely free of charge to local nursing homes, postal services, care workers etc.
The very modest Ben said: ‘’We will continue to make these as long as we can, and we are ever grateful for the kind donations and support
from Miss Trevaskis and the teachers at Crudwell school, Tetbury hardware store and of course our family and friends.
William Eastlake, also from Tetbury has kindly offered his services and is now helping to produce the 3D printed parts.
"We are limited in how many we can make, we are doing what we can.”
Thank you Ben and I think when we come out and applaud and support the NHS we will also be thanking you for supporting the NHS in
with this truly magnanimous gesture.
Ben is a genuinely nice man, honest, fun and straight talking.
He was one of the original founders of the Tetbury Tenants Association and runs his own business Speedtec Motorsport.
