Chedworth news by David Broad
CHEDWORTH was again quiet last weekend.
Just the shouting of residents to their neighbours over garden fences as they kept two metre separation, babbling brook, sheep, quad bikes etc broke the silence.
BOTH The Seven Tuns Inn and Chedworth Farm shop have been delivering boxes of essential items to residents who are self isolating.
THE Chedworth Horticultural Society show committee have decided to leave a decision on whether to hold a show until June 30.
In the mean time many residents experiencing lockdown have an unrivalled opportunity to pamper their plants and make this years horticultural class produce the best ever.
CHEDWORTH Silver Band is awaiting lifting of restrictions before making plans on when performances can recommence.
The sound of Brass has been heard in the Chedworth valley as three members are from the same household and some music has been hurriedly rearranged as Brass trios for Cornet, Horn and Bass (Tuba).
The band is still seeking additional Cornet Players, see www.chedworthsilverband.co.uk or ring 01285 720313 to discuss the situation.
