Cirencester has elected its new mayor and deputy mayor.
Patrick Coleman (Stratton Ward) is the town's new mayor with Claire Bloomer (New Mills Ward) the town's new deputy mayor.
Cllr Coleman will be filling the shoes of former mayor Cllr Nigel Robbins.
Meanwhile, Cllr Bloomer will be taking on Cllr Coleman's former role as deputy mayor.
Patrick's working life has been in the railways, joining as a graduate in 1975.
He recently retired, partly to be able to spend more time working for a better deal from the council.
He's also involved in many aspects of Cirencester life as a member of the Street Pastors, Male Voice Choir, Civic Society, Science and Technology Society, and local CAMRA group.
He enjoys attending the Baptist Church and supports Churches Together in Cirencester.
Claire has lived in Cirencester since she was 15 after moving from Nottinghamshire.
Her grandfather was mayor of Worksop, her home town.
She lives with her husband Jethro and has raised her four children here.
She is self-employed and became a Cirencester Town Councillor for New Mills Ward in 2017.
Claire gets stuck into community events such as the Phoenix Festival and Cirencester Advent Festival and has been involved with Cirencester Community Development trust.
She said: "I intend to do my upmost for Cirencester in all my positions of deputy mayor, district councillor and town councillor.
